The common areas were filled with books, puzzles, and games, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with daily cleaning service. The hotel also had a lovely garden where I could relax and play games like croquet. The breakfast, although basic, had homemade breads, juices, and good coffee. I highly recommend this hotel for its great value for money and friendly atmosphere.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel. the staff at Hostal Schilling were incredibly friendly and spoke English very well. the room was basic but had everything I needed and was cleaned regularly. the breakfast was delicious and larger than what I usually find at hotels in Argentina. the location was also great, just a couple of streets away from the main street, which meant it was quieter. It was only a short walk from the bus station or a quick taxi ride.

Everything was perfect! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The location was ideal, close to the bus terminal and town center. The hostel had a cozy and home-like atmosphere, with a well-equipped kitchen and free tea and coffee available. The breakfast was also delicious and satisfying. the tour vans picked us up directly from the hostel, making it convenient for exploring the area.

While the staff and atmosphere were fantastic, the rooms could use some upgrading. The sheets and overall appearance of the rooms seemed a bit worn and old-fashioned.

They even made dinner reservations for us. the central location of the hostel was perfect for us, as it was close to the bus station, making it convenient for our other trips. Antonella, in particular, made us feel right at home and helped us organize all of our activities and trips around Calafate. Her advice and answers were always on point and she even stored our luggage when we traveled to El Chalten & Torres del Paine. If we ever go back to Patagonia, Hostal Schilling will definitely be our go-to destination. Cons: Nothing, everything was excellent! 😊.
